Full-Day Child Care Program

Care is available Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, designed to support working families with dependable, consistent care. Weekend services are also available upon request.

Subsidy & Affordable Care

We proudly accept child care subsidy payments (CCRC, WTW, etc.) and offer budget-friendly rates to support working families in our community.

Safety & Security

To help ensure safety and give parents peace of mind, our in-home daycare is equipped with video monitoring in common play and activity areas.

Early Childhood Care (Newborn - 12 years)

We specialize in caring for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children, with individualized attention and age-appropriate activities that support early development.

Safe, Clean, & Structured Environment

We maintain a clean, organized, and secure space that meets daily safety and sanitation standards, where children can explore confidently and parents can feel at ease.

Meals & Snacks

Healthy meals and snacks provided daily to support nutrition and well-being.

About the Provider

Hello! My name is Shay Washington, and I am the owner and provider of Rainbow Roots Family Child Care. I am passionate about early childhood care and dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, thrive, and feel at home each day.

In addition to my experience in child care, I am a Certified Medical Assistant, which allows me to confidently assist in pediatric emergency situations and provide an added level of care and safety for your child. I take pride in maintaining a calm, attentive, and well-prepared environment for all children in my care.
